  1. Re: Bootleg Girl’s article; it’s not a good sign that she conflates NRX with nerditude. Not because “NRX shouldn’t look nerdy and has to be ultra-hip,” but because it’s a sign that we might be deviating from safe principles.

“I think that the masculine hegemony and bigotry expressed by attitudes like Anissimov is part and parcel with this Platonic, nerds-as-marginalized-kings mindset. ”

This is exactly the misconception to be avoided. What I learned from Moldbug was: there is no such thing as a marginalized king. If he’s marginalized, then he’s obviously not a king. If we are thinking of ourselves in that fashion then we are in trouble.

  2. A few thoughts on these articles:

“Vox Day” uses the animalistic Alpha-Omega ratings table, so he isn’t worth it.

“Henry Dampier” is writing about the English since he wants to make Anglosphere the battle-ground and gloss over the republicanist states that are so prevalent in areas where members of the Vatican-Roman Church are a strong majority.

Anyone saying that sin isn’t a good word to use, has never used the Psalter appropriately…
