Still sick, but I’ll comment briefly on a solid article from NRO a week back on the South African genocide. It’s interesting in how it’s pushing the Overton window. There’s a straight-up call out against the genocide of the Boers in South Africa, but even more interesting is his idea of a solution:

They could take advantage of their geography and set up a Singapore-style city-state. With foreign investment, they could purchase a city-sized portion of coastal land and assert independence from the national government. First they’ll want to hire some sympathetic military as a temporary security force. They can set up a low-tax, low-interference economic zone that can compete with Durban for its tremendously large volume of shipping traffic. As South Africa has fallen apart, Durban has slipped off the list of the world’s 50 largest container ports. But whatever happens to South Africa, the south of Africa will remain a vital point in world shipping. In fact, it’s only going to become vital-er, as trade between Brazil and Asia increases. Singapore, at the tip of the Malay Peninsula, built itself as a site of entrepôt trade — exporting imports. It has parlayed that into one of the world’s most advanced economies, a global center of innovation and free enterprise.
A new South African city-state could join Singapore and Hong Kong as centers of trade and investment — starting with the investment that would be necessary to build a brand new city-state out of thin air. But one has only to look at Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or any number of Chinese cities to see how fast a city can be built with some will and capital. A South African enclave could attempt its own “Taiwan miracle.”
Very Landian. Of course, I fully support this idea; an independent Boer city-state in SA would be a great idea.
Also, something else stood out to me:
When apartheid ended, the life expectancy in South Africa was 64 — the same as in Turkey and Russia. Now it’s 56, the same as in Somalia. There are 132.4 rapes per 100,000 people per year, which is by far the highest in the world: Botswana is in second with 93, Sweden in third with 64; no other country exceeds 32.
I knew the Muslim rape crisis in Sweden was bad, but I never thought they were third in the world. This has got to be missing a bunch of the third-world basket-cases where reporting is spotty, but even so, that’s insanely high. At some point, between the Swedens, the Rotherhams, and the continuous stream of rapes, European are going to have to wake up to the perils of immigration and multiculturalism.
Yeah, that number for Sweden – didn’t realize it’s that bad.
Regarding the “solution”, as one commenter put it:

A lot more would have to change before this “solution” would work.
Boers are not really techno-commercialists by nature, they have never been, the word itself means “farmer”. Such a city-state would kickly be taken over by South African Jews, guys like Joe Slovo.
I’ve read that part of the reason the number for Sweden is so high is that the Swedes classify basically any unpleasant interaction between the sexes as rape. There is an Afrikaner city-state; it’s called Orania. South Africa should have created a white homeland decades ago, but they couldn’t imagine life without black cooks, nannies, and gardeners. Orania avoids that mistake — blacks are forbidden to enter for any reason and all jobs are performed by whites. The “legitimate” South African government recently sold off its air force because black mechanics couldn’t keep the planes in flyable condition. So Orania is now the safest town on the entire continent.
For every step forward the “respectable conservative” National Review takes, it takes two steps backward. If this seems unreasonably cynical, then take a look the next time it addresses Anti-Whitism, or “reverse racism” in Cathedral terminology. The National Review will scream its head off, letting the virulent anti-white “liberals” know just how effective the anti-white policy is, and at the same time spreading the anti-white meme all over the place. This does the job of the anti-whites. It’s the nature of the establishment Right of 2015.
I’ll put the content of this article in the same category as “White colony on Mars”. It’s unrealistic since it completely ignores the issue of White Genocide (no white country is allowed to maintain its borders or refuse the third-world flood its traitors demand). The article is barely pro-white, so a glimmer of hope is warranted. Yet, as I wrote in the above paragraph…It’s the role of “respectable conservatives” to play the controlled opposition, read punching bag.
If anything, this somewhat surprising topic for an article comes from second-term doldrums in the kabuki-theatre contest that is voting politics…

Dear FN,
I wish the Europeans would wake up. However, although the unease is steadily growing in Europe, the news are not good. Divergent voices are increasingly censored, and the Cathedral is successfully working on methodically void any threat of a concrete opposition of its political substance. It seems like the ever-increasing number of reality checks are only compensated by more faith in the Progress.
I am a French-speaking native. I have looked everywhere in the French-speaking Internet, and apart from a few libertarians and perhaps a couple identitarians, no one has even heard of Moldbug and NRx, let alone written about it. It means that for now, the problem is not even correctly analyzed.
I also happen to live in one of the city-states you mention. We need more of it, especially since the ones that exist are close to saturation for various reasons. Unfortunately I lack time to elaborate on those points now. Just wanted to say hello and mention that I appreciate your blog. There is hope in NRx. But there is a long way to go.

Definitely look into Orania. Not sure what chance it has of becoming an independent city state. Most South African whites prefer to emigrate to the degenerate west for some reason.
If you initiate sex with a woman while she is sleeping, even if she wakes up and take part in it, that is counted as rape. If you refuse to use a condom, even if she eventually consents, rape.
Sweden is in decline. It is a nation of cucks. Muslim rape gangs growing. But has not declined fast enough to be number 3 already.
